Paper submission

The proceedings of the ISEM 2027 Conference will be published in the CIRP-approved journal Procedia CIRP.

The Editorial Manager submission system is open, and authors are warmly invited to submit full papers for peer review. Please note that this conference follows a direct full-paper submission process; submission of an abstract prior to the full paper is not required.

When accessing the submission system, please select “Submit your article” > “Start a new submission” and choose the option “SI: CIRP ISEM XXIII 2027.”

Deadline of Full Paper Submission: 15 December 2026

Submitted manuscripts must:

• Not exceed six (6) A4 pages
• Be prepared using the official conference template
• Present original work that has not been previously published
• Not be under consideration for publication in other conference proceedings or peer-reviewed journals

Each registered participant can present a maximum of TWO papers, with a surcharge covering the publication fee.

Only papers that are registered and presented at the conference will be eligible for publication in Procedia CIRP.

Poster option for presenters

Presenters are welcome to display a poster alongside their oral presentation. If you wish to do so, please inform the Conference Organising Team ([email protected]), in advance.

Please note that poster space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Posters are optional and are not a mandatory requirement for presenters.

If you wish to display a poster alongside your oral presentation, you may send the poster file to us in advance. We will be able to arrange printing on campus for your convenience.
