Welcome to the VirVil SketchUp Extension Site

The VirVil SketchUp extension is an early stage energy simulation tool that is usable, simple, accessible, and flexible. It is a Trimble SketchUp extension that links the 3D design tool to a Dynamic simulation model HTB2.

The VirVil SketchUp extension has been tested on the latest version of SketchUp 2024, 2023, 2022, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. It is recommended that you download the latest version of SketchUp which is available at http://www.sketchup.com/

Extension Installation

The VirVil extension SketchUp can be installed into SketchUp using the menu item Window->Extension Manager within SketchUp. Under the Extensions item select the Install Extensions button. Select the wsa_virvil.rbz file and this will install all the necessary files to run the VirVil extension. The extension is self contained and requires no other files to function. If you require more details on how to run the model check the documentation section.
