Meet the Team

EARTHCEM is led by Dr Deepankar Ashish through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship hosted at Cardiff University.

The project is supported by Dr Riccardo Maddalena (Academic Supervisor) and Dr Diane Gardner (Co-supervisor), whose expertise in sustainable construction materials, infrastructure performance, durability, and resource efficiency helps guide the research programme.

Together, the team is working to advance low-carbon cement technologies and support the transition towards a more sustainable built environment.
