The On-Campus Student Internships Celebration Experience was held on 13th November, 2024 at the Cardiff University’s Centre for Student Life. Hosted by the Learning and Teaching Academy, the poster session put on display an inspiring range of student projects and achievements from the summer internship placements, including our own Grace Wilson, showcasing the results of the: DDSS – Decoding Decision Support Systems, part of the DECIDE project. 

The Internship scheme gives small grants to Cardiff University’s staff, to allow for providing undergraduate students with valuable work experience, as well as the chance to sample postgraduate research and participate in important projects. Cardiff LTA Programme is now considered to be one of the largest undergraduate internship schemes in the UK, with over 1850 students have taken part in placements since 2008, contributing to their development as future professionals.
