Hosted in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Cardiff,<\/span><\/span> the vibrant capital city of Wales, the conference offers not only an exceptional scientific programme but also the opportunity to experience a city rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. From the iconic <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Cardiff Castle<\/span><\/span> in the heart of the city to the picturesque waterfront of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Cardiff Bay<\/span><\/span>, Cardiff combines historic charm with a modern, dynamic atmosphere, providing a welcoming and inspiring setting for international delegates.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"1170\">Originally founded as the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">International Symposium for Electro Machining<\/span><\/span> (ISEM), the conference was first held in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1960. Over more than six decades, ISEM has grown into the leading international forum for the presentation and exchange of pioneering research in electro-physical, electro-chemical, laser-based and related non-conventional manufacturing technologies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1461\">Today, ISEM proudly operates under the auspices of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">CIRP<\/span><\/span> (The International Academy for Production Engineering), reinforcing its standing as a premier global platform that connects academia, research institutions, and industry leaders from around the world.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1766\">On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are delighted to invite you to join us in 2027.
